USPTOがAI利用発明について発明者の地位に関するガイダンス及び事例を公表 - USPTO issues inventorship guidance and examples for AI-assisted inventions

米国特許商標庁（USPTO）は米国東部時間（以下同じ。）の2月12日、AI利用発明の発明者の地位に関するガイダンス及び事例を公表することを明らかにした。ガイダンスは今後、連邦官報に掲載される。USPTOは併せて、3月5日13時から14時にウェブセミナーを開催して質疑を受け付け、また同月14日までパブリックコメントを募集するとしている。

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced on  February 12, 2012 ET., that it will publish guidance and examples regarding inventorship of AI-assisted inventions, which will be posted in the Federal Register. The USPTO will also hold a public webinar on March 5 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET. to receive questions and solicit public comments until March 14.
