アンディーウォーホル美術財団がリン・ゴールドスミス氏と和解 - The Andy Warhol Art Foundation settles with Lynn Goldsmith

アンディーウォーホル美術財団と写真家リン・ゴールドスミスが著作権紛争に関し和解した。アンディーウォーホル美術財団は、ゴールドスミスに対し、2016年のCondé Nast に対する同財団よる無許諾ラインセスについて10,250ドルの損害賠償金と訴訟費用（弁護士費用を含む）11,279.94ドルを支払うことに合意した。また、AWFはアンディーウォーホルによる原作品の制作がフェアユースであるとの確認の求めを取り下げることに合意した。ニューヨーク南部連邦地裁の確認を経て正式に成立する見込みである。

The Andy Warhol Art Foundation (AWF) and a photographer Lynn Goldsmith have settled regarding their copyright dispute. The AWF has agreed to pay Goldsmith $10,250 in damages for its unauthorized license to Condé Nast in 2016 and $11,279.94 in litigation costs (including attorneys' fees). AWF also has agreed to withdraw its request for a declaratory relief that the creation of Andy Warhol's original work was fair use. The agreement is expected to be officially finalized by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
