Google連邦地裁で独禁法違反判決 - US District court found Google had violated antitrust law

8月5日、ワシントンDCの連邦地裁はGoogleが検索エンジン市場で米国の独禁法（反トラスト法）に違反したと判決した 。
Googleが関係者に高額の金銭を支払って自社の検索エンジンをデフォルトとして登載させることで、他の競業他社を排除したということなどを理由とする。
本判決により、引き続き同違反に対するサンクションなどの別の手続きが提起される可能性がある。

August 5, US District Court in Washington D.C. ruled  that Google violated antitrust law, by spending billions of dollars to developers, carriers and equipment makers to be the default search engine.
The decision is expected to trigger a separate proceeding to determine potential fixes.
